Does this sound familiar?
Same two people. Different challenges.
Every relationship has difficult seasons. You’re not alone if you’re feeling stuck. Many couples come to counseling when they’re experiencing:
Communication struggles
Small conversations turn into big arguments or end in silence.
Emotional distance
You care about each other, but feel more like roommates than partners.
Repeated conflict
You keep having the same problems without resolution.
Trust and security concerns
It’s hard to feel close, safe, or confident in the relationship again.

Practice new ways of connecting

Common questions
You might be wondering…
Do we have to be in crisis to come to counseling?
Not at all. Couples counseling can be helpful when things feel difficult, but also when you’re hoping to communicate better, reconnect, or strengthen an already meaningful relationship.
Will you take sides?
My role isn’t to decide who is right. I’ll help both partners feel heard while we work to identify patterns, practice healthier communication, and consider what each person can contribute to change.
What if one of us is hesitant about counseling?
It’s common to arrive with different comfort levels. We can begin by exploring each person’s concerns, expectations, and what would make the process feel useful. Participation should be voluntary.
How long does couples counseling usually take?
There isn’t one timeline that fits every relationship. The length of therapy depends on your goals, the challenges you’re facing, and how the work progresses. We’ll review your goals along the way.
Do you offer virtual sessions?
Telehealth is available for adult clients in Louisiana. Ask about couples telehealth options when you inquire so we can determine whether it’s appropriate for your circumstances.
Taking the next step
You don’t have to figure it all out before reaching out.
If you’re ready to strengthen your relationship, work through past challenges, or simply feel more connected, we can start with a conversation about what you need.
